中美跨文化交流項(xiàng)目（ Cross-Cultural Virtual Exchange Programe）是蘇州北美國際高級(jí)中學(xué)與美國北卡州立大學(xué)新教學(xué)法研究所指導(dǎo)下的美國海岸高中（Coastal High School）合作開展的通過網(wǎng)絡(luò)平臺(tái)進(jìn)行互動(dòng)交流的學(xué)術(shù)項(xiàng)目。該項(xiàng)目于2022年9月啟動(dòng)，以每學(xué)期為一周期，每月進(jìn)行一次，每次一個(gè)主題。這種合作不僅打破了物理距離的限制，還通過現(xiàn)代科技架起了一座文化溝通的橋梁，讓學(xué)生們?cè)谔摂M世界中探索多元文化，共享文化之美。
The Cross-Cultural Virtual Exchange Program is a collaborative academic initiative conducted via an online platform between our school and Coastal High School in the United States, under the guidance of the New Teaching Methods Institute at North Carolina State University. Launched in September 2022, the program operates on a semester basis, with monthly sessions each centered around a different theme. This collaboration not only overcomes physical distance limitations but also uses modern technology to build a bridge for cultural communication, allowing students to explore diverse cultures and share the beauty of cultural exchange in a virtual world.

跨文化交流，青春共鳴

本期參與該項(xiàng)目的是我校的7位同學(xué)由 Mr Michael Angelo老師指導(dǎo)，而美國海岸高中則是由Ms Xiaohong Lin老師帶領(lǐng)14位學(xué)生共同參與。學(xué)生們不僅通過視頻會(huì)議了解彼此，還通過郵件、社交媒體和其他數(shù)字平臺(tái)進(jìn)行互動(dòng)，分享彼此的看法和見解。這種跨文化交流不僅促進(jìn)了中美兩國學(xué)生之間的相互理解，更在他們的青春歲月中留下了難忘的記憶。
In the current session of the Cross-Cultural Virtual Exchange Program, 7 students from our school are being guided by Mr. Michael Angelo, while Coastal High School in the United States is represented by 14 students under the leadership of Ms. Xiaohong Lin. The students not only get to know each other through video conferences but also interact via email, social media, and other digital platforms, sharing their views and insights. This cross-cultural exchange not only fosters mutual understanding between Chinese and American students but also creates memorable experiences during their formative years.

多彩主題，碰撞思維火花

每月一期的交流活動(dòng)，為學(xué)生們提供了寶貴的機(jī)會(huì)，學(xué)生們深入探討彼此的文化，交流主題涵蓋旅行、音樂、娛樂、運(yùn)動(dòng)、節(jié)日等方面。這些豐富多彩的主題為學(xué)生們提供了一個(gè)廣闊的平臺(tái)，讓他們能夠分享和學(xué)習(xí)彼此的文化。
The monthly sessions of the exchange program offer students a valuable opportunity to delve deeply into each other's cultures, with themes covering travel, music, entertainment, sports, festivals, and more. These diverse and vibrant themes provide a broad platform for students to share and learn about each other's cultural backgrounds, enriching their understanding and appreciation of global diversity.

例如，在探討旅行主題時(shí)，學(xué)生們展示了各自國家的名勝古跡，分享了各自的旅行經(jīng)歷；在音樂和娛樂主題中，他們互相推薦本國的流行歌曲和電影，甚至還現(xiàn)場(chǎng)演奏和表演。這些互動(dòng)不僅拓寬了他們的視野，還激發(fā)了他們對(duì)不同文化的熱愛和好奇心。
For instance, during the session focused on travel, students showcased famous landmarks from their respective countries and shared personal travel experiences. In the music and entertainment themed sessions, they recommended popular songs and movies from their countries, and some even performed live. These interactions not only broadened their horizons but also ignited a passion and curiosity for different cultures.

科技橋梁，連接心靈

這個(gè)利用網(wǎng)絡(luò)平臺(tái)進(jìn)行交流的項(xiàng)目生動(dòng)地展示了科技如何跨越地理距離，使學(xué)生能夠獲得對(duì)多元文化的充分了解。通過高質(zhì)量的視頻會(huì)議和實(shí)時(shí)互動(dòng)，學(xué)生們得以直觀地感受彼此的文化氛圍。學(xué)生們?cè)诖舜位顒?dòng)中不僅學(xué)習(xí)了彼此的語言和文化，還培養(yǎng)了跨文化溝通的能力和全球視野。這種通過科技手段實(shí)現(xiàn)的文化交流，讓學(xué)生們認(rèn)識(shí)到科技不僅是學(xué)習(xí)工具，更是連接世界的重要橋梁。
This online exchange program vividly demonstrates how technology can bridge geographical distances, enabling students to gain a comprehensive understanding of diverse cultures. Through high-quality video conferencing and real-time interaction, students can directly experience each other's cultural atmospheres. The activities not only facilitate learning about each other's languages and cultures but also enhance cross-cultural communication skills and a global perspective. This technologically facilitated cultural exchange highlights that technology is not just a tool for learning, but also a crucial bridge connecting the world.
