對我影響最大的老師是我在香港大學的教授 Professor Mark Bray。 他致力于國際教育和比較教育的研究。跟老師學習的日子里，經(jīng)常提到的一句話是: "We don't see things as they are, we see them as we are." 我們看待事物，總是避免不了帶著我們個人經(jīng)驗和認知的濾鏡。作為教育者，對待孩子的教育問題，也要對求真和客觀時時注意。

我是在讀高中時去的英國，一路從高中到研究生，畢業(yè)于英國約克大學的化學專業(yè)，之后在英國工作?；貒缶屯渡韲H教育行業(yè)，從化學老師做起，到今年已經(jīng)是第十六個年頭。在6年前選擇到香港大學進修，獲得國際和比較教育方向的教育學碩士。在海外生活學習工作近十年，過去曾就職于上海上實劍橋外國語中學，佛山美倫國際學校，青島培諾教育等，歷任副校長/學術校長/中心主任。我在國際教育這條路上不斷探索，專注于課程教學管理和升學指導。作為國際教育的親歷者和實踐者，希望我能用我個人的經(jīng)驗和知識，幫到更多德英樂的學子們做好邁出國門的準備。

I’ve had so many teachers that have influenced me – my Aunt Pat who was a PE teacher for more than 30 years, my Middle School History teacher Mr. Clement who sparked my love of history and geography, and so many more. Probably the most influential was Ms. Angie Noble, my Grade 3 teacher with whom I was able to reconnect with after High School. She gave me the opportunity to volunteer in her classroom, offered so much advice, and mentored me through my journey towards being a teacher.

The guidance and support she provided during these formative years in my university career allowed me to thrive and develop into the person I am today. Her kindness towards me helped me develop a similar attitude and disposition towards others in my own life. Her attitude of ‘Paying It Forward’ has stayed with me even until today.

I have a Bachelor's degree from Western Michigan University, majored in Elementary Education, Math, Science, and Physical Education. I also earned a Master's degree in Educational Administration from Sam Houston State University and Ph.D. in Educational Administration from Capella University.

I have been working as a teacher and administrator for 28 years, including experiences in Public and Private Schools in Michigan and Texas, USA and International Schools in China.

I was honored with One of Top Ten New Principals in International Schools by Forbes in 2021.

Mr. Wandschneider was an amazing teacher who really inspired me. He loved learning new things and always made it exciting. He taught us more than just what was in the books. He showed us how important it is to think critically, solve problems, and be creative. What made him special was how much he cared about each of us. He took the time to understand our strengths and challenges and always helped us when we needed it. He worked hard to help us grow and succeed, and I will always be grateful for the important things he taught me and how much he cared about me.

I have a Bachelor's degree in English language from East China Normal University, as well as a PGCE from the University of Sunderland. I am also a member of the IB Educator Network in the roles of workshop leader, school visit team member and PYP evaluation programme leader. Over the last 20 years, I have been working in a variety of schools and settings in China, with several years of experience in middle and senior management.

I graduated from the University of Miami with a Bachelor of Science in Communication, majored in Psychology and Film. Additionally, I completed an Associate of Arts degree from the State College of Florida.

I have had the privilege of working in a few distinguished educational institutions including Shanghai WFLPS and Hutang Qiao Primary School. 

I've been honored with the Shanghai WFLPS Excellence in Teaching Award and also served as a Professional Judge for the CCTV Star of Outlook English Competition.

從教過程中對我影響最大的是在清華附中國際部工作時的兩位老師，一位是亦師亦友的師老師，另一位則是來自英國的Georgia老師。師老師對我最大的影響就是永不枯竭的創(chuàng)造力和充滿中國文化元素以及審美的創(chuàng)意。雖然她在小學我在中學，但是她對于教學和生活的熱愛，總是可以隨時感染并啟發(fā)到我。Georgia老師對我最大的影響是文化的包容和尊重態(tài)度。在我們共同去云南榕樹根的那次體驗式學習中，她出色的活動組織設計能力以及對于景頗族文化及孩子的尊重態(tài)度，一直讓我心存敬意。

雷喬英老師博士畢業(yè)于首都師范大學古代文學專業(yè)，從教十一年，博士期間參與過杜克大學和南加州大學的中文項目，博士畢業(yè)后加入清華附中國際部，擔任中文老師和中文部主管。其后加入深圳薈同學校，作為創(chuàng)校的核心團隊成員。曾在在“中蒙國際學術年會”（ACAMIS）以及“國際學校華語教育研討會暨工作坊”（ISCLE）兩個國際化學校中影響非常大的學術年會和工作坊中做過案例分享，獲得積極反饋。教學論文多次在清華附中以及北京市創(chuàng)新教育學會論文年會中獲得一等獎。曾擔任“國際青少年中文寫作大賽”母語組總評審及組委會副主席，積極推進國際化學校中文寫作項目的發(fā)展。

When I was in Year 9 I had a new teacher. In our first lesson she asked for a volunteer, I volunteered. She then asked me to collect some resources for her from another room. I did so. On returning the whole class was involved in an activity which I watched as I put the resources down. The teacher then asked the class a question, she went through the students one by one, the same question...the same answer, agreement and praise. Everyone agreed. When she asked me, I answered her question differently. To my surprise, my answer was also agreed with and praised. 

We then had a discussion about perspectives, individual experiences, conformity and peer pressue....it was interesting, we felt connected, we had a voice and were being listened to. I have always carried that experience with me, to listen, to explore perspectives, to make a connection. I am now looking forward to making connections here at VSP.

It celebrates the work that teachers do...and I appreciate that very much! I have been a teacher for over 25 years. I was qualified from John Moores University, Liverpool and worked for 17 years in the UK, including schools in Liverpool and London. I have worked in various roles, including Head of Physical Education and Science. Since leaving the UK I have worked in Italy and China, I have experience of different curricular from different countries and is looking forward to working at VSP.

每當我困惑疲乏之時，總是去翻看他遺留下來的手跡，真的能馬上提振自己。因為有這樣一位老師爸爸，也堅定了我投身教育并執(zhí)著追求39年的信念，并且也傳承了爸爸的教育品德，成就了現(xiàn)在的我。

本科畢業(yè)于湖南省湘潭師范學院中文系，在上海師范大學獲得課程與教學論的研究生學歷。從教39年。2000年從湖南省湘潭市第16中學人才引進到上海市閔行區(qū)航華中學。2005年在上海評為中學語文高級教師，曾經(jīng)是上海市金愛心老師、閔行區(qū)首屆金獎班主任、閔行區(qū)名師講壇老師、全國骨干教師高級研修班學員，閔行區(qū)骨干教師等。論文多次獲得各類獎項，負責學校青年教師的帶教工作，多年從事畢業(yè)班學科的教學。熱愛教育事業(yè)，熱愛學生。

As a student I always felt comfortable with mathematics but it was never my main passion. As I passed into my teenage years, I became increasing enthusiastic about science and it became clear to me I would focus my studies on science and in particular chemistry. While I definitely had great moments with chemistry teachers. I feel my A-level math teacher Sarah Marshall had the greatest effect on my life. As a 16-year-old I was content within myself, but she was more confident in my ability than I (or my school) was and really brought the best out of me. I can look back happily at this time as I achieved everything I set out to do and more.

Hello, my name is Andrew, I was born in the North-East of England and lived there until leaving for university. I read chemistry at the University of Oxford, and stayed to complete my masters in organic chemistry. Teaching was not my first profession, after university I worked in chemical industry before making a career change. I started out cover teaching around my hometown and I saw a lot of different schools before lingering a while in a nice school in North Yorkshire. I moved to Beijing in 2019 and I have been here teaching science and English since. I have spent the last 4 years in beautiful Jiangsu before coming here to Shanghai.

A truly wonderful teacher in my life has been my Chinese teacher from 廣州. She understands what all great teachers know；that is, we are teaching people, not content. The student is more important than the curriculum. Learning is more important than completing homework. My Chinese teacher has learned these lessons well and week by week she inspires me both to study Chinese but also study myself. Improving myself and improving my language ability go hand in hand. Through her example I’m encouraged everyday not just to study Chinese but also to become the sort of person who is worthy of the material I am learning. She inspires me to take my profession and my students as seriously as they deserve. It is my great privilege to have met her and many other master teachers throughout my career.

I graduated from Biola University in Los Angeles with my master’s degree in teaching. My bachelor’s degree is in History. I’ve been a teacher for more than 10 years working in training centers, kindergartens, and high schools both in the US and in China.
